DLGuard is one of the leading membership scripts and download prtotectors on the market.
We use it for one of our other sites and it works great.
Jason @ pressography.com had a stroke of genius and created a wordpress plugin that enables you to integrate DLGuard into your WordPress site.
He considered setting up a full on WP membership plugin that would function like amember or the other “big boys” but knew this was a better way.
As Jason said.

So after some intensicve keyboard time he Wordpress plugin that links DLGuard and Wordpress together was born.
Note: you have to modify the DLGuard membership template, but other than that, it’s seamless
